Four-hour poem

via Daily Prompt: Tend
Tend

tend
tender
tenderness
a loving touch
a sweet caress,
tend to life
and drink regrets,
tender memories
the pain forgets,
tenderness softening
hardened moments.

  1. Why “Four-hour poem”? Is that how long it took you to compose it after seeing the Daily Post prompt?

    • Lol, according to my wife, yes. My wife harassed me the whole time yelling “It’s taken you four hours to write that poem” and singing “Gilligan’s Island” theme replacing “three-hour tour” with “four-hour poem” I had a different title first, “Being” but changed it to that.
